Spring Conference set for May 14-15, 2010 at Founder’s Inn and Spa, Virginia Beach

Members, the District 66 Spring Conference is set for May 14-15, 2010 at the Founder's Inn and Spa, Virginia Beach, VA and offers a luxurious atmosphere in a relaxing setting, which can be viewed at http://www.foundersinn.com/Spa/default.asp.
At minimum, we have the opportunity to:
- Elect the 2010-2011 District Officers. Club Proxies for the District Council meeting can be obtained at http://district66.org/resources/for-district-staff.
- Support your participants in the International Speech and Table Topics Contests and congratulate the participants/winners from those events. For the first time, District IS contest winners are participating in the semifinals at the International Convention in Palm Desert, CA on August 11-14, 2010, see details at http://www.toastmasters.org/GRaSContest
- Participate or lead a broad range of educational and entertaining sessions. Maybe you have session ideas or would like to lead one!
- Meet District leaders/friends from across the District and build new relationships to continue/promote your Toastmasters journey.
- Be intrigued by some well placed surprises being planned by our Chairs.
The conference theme is "Informative..Engaging…with a Hint of Intrigue" and we're soliciting your ideas for a conference logo/flyer by February 15th with the top two winners rewarded.
The co-chairs, Mary White and Melissa Simmons are excited about the energy/ideas that have already been generated but needs YOU to be a success! "Your Energy, Your Support, Your Ideas, Your Presence."
