Central Division Area Governors – Per discussion with Martha Stevens, CDivGov, we request you contact by phone each of your club Presidents or VPEs/other Club officer in their absence to ensure they are aware of the cancellation and the planned alternate make-up date on February 27th? Your efforts will minimize the opportunity for an uninformed member showing up only to discover the training is not as planned, which we should extend ourselves to avoid.

Second Training is Valuable

Written by Jerry Keast, LGM Thursday, 21 January 2010 07:00

The district's second round of club-officer training started at the Winter Leadership Institute on January 16, 2010. While club officers (and even some district officers) may see this as redundant, the truth is that second training can be an opportunity to offer your club officers that extra information and practice they need to create even greater success. Don't miss this opportunity to gain this insight and renew and build relationships with fellow district members.

Here is the list of 2010 Division Area Make-up Training and Contest Dates (pdf). (updated March 4, 2010)

Teressa Burrell-Gordon and her sister Ordean Bond, both members of the Southside Verizon Toastmasters Club #916942 have stepped up to assume the responsibilities of managing the bookstore from Jim and Micki Adee.

I’ve accepted their gracious offer and am confident they will do a superb job of managing these resources.

Join me in congratulating Teressa and Ordean as they take on this important function.
