District Council Adopts Re-alignment Proposal
The District Council met on 30 April, and adopted the proposal of the re-alignment committee (as amended), creating five Divisions in District 66. Further, the Divisions and Areas were renamed and re-numbered to conform with conventions recommended by Toastmasters International. The organization of clubs, Areas, and Divisions is shown below.
Each year, the District Governor appoints a Re-alignment chair and establishes a committee with representation from all Divisions. The recommendations of the committee are brought before the District Council (made up of District officers, club Presidents and Vice-Presidents, Education) for approval.
