Greetings Toastmasters! Welcome to Division E’s Web Page. There is so much information provided just for you. I am pleased that you have taken time out of your busy schedules to visit.

A part of the District’s focus is to ensure that our Clubs conduct quality meetings because Quality meetings lead to quality clubs. In order to have quality Clubs, we must build a solid foundation by focusing on being “Brilliant on the Basics.” Our members are our greatest strength and it is our job (as leaders) to ensure every Toastmaster understands that we want them to succeed, and that we value their service, talents, skills and dedication. Additionally, we must make every effort to prepare our Toastmasters for success from day one to prove we care about their well-being and set the tone by which our members ultimately choose to “Stay or Leave.” It’s an investment in Toastmasters’ future.

One of the most important steps we can take in getting a member on the right path early is reaching out to them as a mentor and shepherding them into our Club and the surrounding community. Proactive interaction can solve many issues and concerns before members arrive for their follow-on attendance, paving the way for a smooth transition, and most importantly, making members feel like part of their new Toastmaster family. We want to ensure they receive the information they need to be successful communicators, speakers and leaders.

If this is your first time visiting District 66’s Web site, I invite you to take a look at the “District Corner.” Al Tuten (District Governor), Daphne Hill (Lt. Governor Education and Training), and Pete Moyer (Lt. Governor Marketing) have provided invaluable information to keep you up-to-date of what is going on at the District level. However, on this page, I will provide you with highlights of current events, promotions and information at the Division E level.

For all returning Toastmasters, just sit back and relax. At the click of your mouse, you may freely browse your favorite links; you are bound to find something new. I only ask that you socialize this Web site and Division E’s Web page with colleagues, friends and especially your Club.

Before you go, if you would like to contact me, click here. If you would like to contact an Area Governor, please visit the “Area Governors’ Corner” and click on his or her name, then follow the links.

So what are you waiting for? Join the fun and of course…Be Brilliant on the Basics!
